Sohail Waziri, a second-year PhD student in Energy Science & Engineering at Stanford University, embodies diverse academic experiences and a passion for solving complex problems. His path in this field began with a background in petroleum and chemical engineering at Turkey's Middle East Technical University. Despite initially considering a career in medicine, his inclination towards engineering led him to Stanford, following a professor's recommendation. In his research endeavors, Sohail focuses on enhancing computational efficiency and algorithmic understanding in geothermal simulations.
